ABOUT MARTIN 

Martin Genge has played saxophone, clarinet, flute and harmonica in a music career spanning 40 years. 
 
He has played most types of music including pop, rock and jazz across the South West and most of the major jazz festivals in Britain, Ireland and Europe. 
 
He has featured on TV programmes and many albums from the Hip Hop genre of Up, Bustle and Out on the Ninja Label to the much-loved Avon Cities Jazz Band. He has led his own quartets and quintets for many years with some of the finest musicians in the region. 
 
Martin now works as a teacher from his base in North Somerset offering saxophone lessons and servicing to clients across Bristol, Bath and Somerset.

  INFORMAL TUITION STYLE 

Martin has been teaching sax since the early 90’s both privately and for three years at Clifton College.  
He has developed his own style of informal tuition based on many years’ experience, giving lessons to all ages and people from all walks of life.
